Francia y Portugal

Quizás, debido a la cercanía siempre sigo de una forma más especial las pruebas de Francia y de Portugal. Por orden diré que a día de hoy Fanning, sigue siendo la apuesta más firme con Kelly Slater. Quizás repetitivo, pero el escalón está siendo notorio este año y frente a la irregularidad del resto, el dominio es claro. Todo ello aceptando que al final pueda haber cambios de última hora.

Pese a todo Francia se celebró un año más, las condiciones fueron grandes y el espectáculo (que es lo que interesa) fue servido... El mundial se pone interesante y en cuestión de horas comienza Portugal...



Por otro lado, Portugal llama a la puerta y Supertubos aguarda su oportunidad de ofrecer un año más su mejor versión, por lo que espero que se justifique en el WCT el venir a Europa. Y finalmente, en alusión a lo antes contado sobre el dominio a día de hoy, la propia ASP hace sus cálculos...

Only Fanning can clinch the crown in Portugal.

If Fanning wins the event:
- Slater will need a 3rd or better to take the title decision to Hawaii.
- Smith, Burrow and Parkinson will be out of the race.

If Fanning finishes Runner-Up in Portugal:
- Slater will need a 9th or better to take the title decision to Hawaii.
- Smith will need to win the event to take the title decision to Hawaii.
- Burrow and Parkinson will be out of the race.

If Fanning finishes 3rd in Portugal:
- Slater will need a 9th or better to take the title decision to Hawaii
- Smith, Burrow and Parkinson will need to win the event to take the title decision to Hawaii.

If Fanning finishes 5th or worse in Portugal:
- The ASP World Title decision will go to Hawaii as, even with a 25th in Portugal, Slater can still win in Hawaii.
